Salsa lessons are given at the beginning of each Salsa evening. The beginners' lesson starts at 8.15pm and usually lasts about for 45 minutes. There is a small step introduction session first, in the form of a line.
This lesson is for absolute beginners and people who are just starting out in the salsa scene. You will be learning basic footwork, basic handholds and basic turn patterns. This lesson is usually taken by Don Stephens or guest teacher.
The improvers' lesson starts around 8.15 and usually lasts for 45 minutes. There is a step introduction first, in the form of a line, using more complicated footwork.
This lesson is aimed at people who already know the basic steps, handholds and turns, but want to put them into more complicated routines for a smoother look on the dancefloor. This lesson is usually taken by Don Stephens or guest teacher.
Note : Both lessons to run together at Theatre Clwyd as night finishes slightly earlier then previous venues.
After the lessons finish, mixed salsa music is played until 12.30am.
